Celebrating 75 Years as Your Disability Partner
We are delighted to share our 2024 Challenger Event Honorees in honor of our 75th Anniversary as an organization.
Life Navigators was founded in 1949 by a small group of concerned individuals including the parents of Cindy Schaus and Larry Haskin. Larry and Cindy’s parents were committed to developing programs and educational opportunities for their children with disabilities, Cathy, Nancy and Richard.
Our founding families believed in an inclusive community that supports safe, happy and healthy lives for all individuals with disabilities. They developed the foundation for community-based services. Thanks to their groundwork, we carry out their vision through our expanding programs.
Welcoming Our Honorees and Consumer of the Year
We are so pleased to recognize the Haskin and Schaus families as they continue their parents’ legacy with their leadership and dedication to our community. We are also delighted to celebrate Larry & Holly’s daughter, Kelly, as our Consumer of the Year.
