Events & Activities for Individuals with Disabilities
Men’s & Women’s Group
Creates a network of support by offering community outings for individuals with a higher level of independence.
Healthy Relationship Classes
Includes classes covering adolescent development, self-protection and self-esteem.
Social Opportunities & Community Outings
Provides social opportunities and community outings for individuals with disabilities. Activities vary from month to month but in the past have included sports outings, summer picnics, volunteer outings at Feeding America and a presentation from a local firefighter.
Game Night
Offers an opportunity to have fun, build skills and develop your social network. This event meets about every other month to play games and socialize!
Basic Living Needs
Emergency Fund
Provides food, clothing and household items to allow individuals to be safe, happy and healthy. Kids and adults in crisis will receive items to meet their needs, such as:
- Groceries, toiletries and personal care items
- Clothes and socks
- First aid supplies
- Blankets and sheets
- Smoke detectors and small appliances
Soap, Suds Drive
Provides supplies that support individuals with disabilities to be safe, happy and healthy. Kids and adults will receive items to meet their needs, such as:
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Body wash and soap
- $10.00 Target gift cards
