Developing a Network of Support – Meet Kevin

Meet Kevin.  Kevin enjoys collecting radios and stereos, listening to old records, watching baseball, and coloring in his free time.  Kevin also volunteers several times a week at a local thrift store.  His duties include going through and sorting items in the backroom, putting things away, and breaking down boxes.

Kevin is a member of our Men’s Group and has been involved with Life Navigators since 2014.  His participation has given him confidence and allowed him to develop a network of support.  In the past, Kevin has enjoyed attending our Game Nights, Winter Celebration, and Men’s Group bowling.  This last year, Kevin has enjoyed our Men’s and Women’s Group Zoom Bingo meetings.  He said that since he is rather shy, he loves that Life Navigators helps him develop new friendships.  Kevin is so grateful to Life Navigators for keeping his spirits up and providing him with activities like Bingo to look forward to.  To stay connected, Kevin has been able to chat with his Life Navigators friends on the phone, and even treated his good friend, Jim, to a birthday lunch at Rocky Rococo’s.
