Active & Connected in Our Community – Meet Matt

Meet Matt. Matt attends many of our community events, bringing his massive smile and positive energy. He looks forward to volunteering as our enthusiastic raffle salesman at our Challenger Event every year. Our golfer guests always enjoy meeting Matt as he cheers them on throughout the course. For his Life Navigators volunteerism, as well as being a great ambassador, he was honored at our 39 Annual Challenger Event as our 2022 Consumer of the Year.

Matt is an integral part of his community. He volunteers his time at Clement Manor, a local retirement home. He helps with activities while mingling with staff and guests. Matt also volunteers at his local church and participates in a chorus group through Hamilton High School. He has traveled throughout the United States with his chorus and is preparing for their next performance in Nashville in August.

Matt also participates in Special Olympics bocce ball and bowling. Matt and his dad, Don, enjoy bowling together in various community leagues and with neighbors. Matt is a huge fan of the Wisconsin sports teams, showing his pride for the Brewers and Bucks. As for his favorite, he says whichever one is playing!

With the help of Life Navigators, Matt has expanded his network of support, always looking for volunteer and socializing opportunities. Matt has continued to grow as a happy, healthy and independent person. Matt and Don are grateful for Life Navigators’ support, giving them peace of mind as they continue to plan for Matt’s future.
