Men’s & Women’s Group
Creates a network of support by offering community outings and social opportunities for individuals with disabilities with a higher level of independence.
Healthy Relationship Classes
Includes classes covering adolescent development, self-protection and self-esteem.
Disabilities Social Opportunities & Community Outings
Provides monthly disabilities social opportunities and community outings for individuals with disabilities. Activities vary but, in the past, have included sports outings, summer picnics, volunteer outings at Feeding America, and a presentation from a local firefighter.
Game Night
Offers an opportunity to have fun, build skills and develop your social network. This event meets about every other month to play games and socialize!
Meet Marshell
Marshell is a social butterfly who enjoys being an active member of her community. She works and participates in many Special Olympics sports. Before joining Life Navigators’ Women’s Group, Marshell loved being active but often found gaps in her schedule, looking for more opportunities to connect with friends.
