Life Navigators Receives Grant from SC Johnson

Life Navigators is pleased to announce it has received a grant from SC Johnson to support our Annual Summer Picnic at the Washington Park Senior Center.

This $2,500 grant will be used to provide kids and adults with disabilities with a wonderful meal along with a fun night of bingo and prizes.  Through this opportunity, kids and adults will create deeper friendships with other individuals and families served by Life Navigators while being active and connected in our community.

“We are so thankful to our many community partners such as SC Johnson who provide opportunities for kids and adults with disabilities.  Experiences such as these mean so much to the individuals we serve, allowing them to gain a stronger network of support in our community.”

David & Gerald, pictured above, are two of many individuals who attend our Summer Picnic and will benefit from the new grant.
