Life Navigators Receives $5,000 Through Kohl’s Cares Hometown Giving Program

November 5, 2024

Life Navigators is happy to announce that we recently received a $5,000 grant from the Kohl’s Cares Hometown Giving Program! This grant will help support our Self-Advocacy & Independence Program. Thank you, Kohl’s Cares, for advocating for kids and adults with disabilities in our community.

Kohl’s grant to Life Navigators was made possible through the Kohl’s Cares Hometown Giving Program, which provides $500,000 total in grants to selected nonprofits serving Milwaukee and Waukesha County. Funding was provided to nonprofits who support a variety of initiatives, including family health and wellness, social service, education, environmental sustainability, and arts and culture.

Since the inception of Kohl’s Cares Hometown Giving Program, the company has donated more than $3 million to nonprofits in the Milwaukee and Waukesha area. The grants distributed through Kohl’s Cares Hometown Giving Program are made possible through the Kohl’s Cares Goods for Good merchandise program, which sells children’s books and plush toys and donates 100 percent of the net profit to health and wellness organizations nationwide. Throughout Kohl’s history, Kohl’s and Kohl’s Cares have given more than $160 million to Milwaukee nonprofits. To learn more, visit Corporate.Kohls.com.
