Providing Opportunities – Meet Dartrice

Meet Dartrice. Dartrice loves shoes, bright colors and everything to do with music. Dartrice was born with Angelman Syndrome, a disability that impacts her mobility and speech. She enjoys getting out to her favorite activities, spending time with her mother, attending musicals, plays and going out to the movies. Dartrice and her mother have been connected to Life Navigators for many years and have benefited from our Family Support Program.

Today, Dartrice participates in Life Navigators Self-Advocacy & Independence Program and attends our community outings. Dartrice and her mother love attending performances through our partnerships with UPAF Connect and many other wonderful programs in our community. With your support, Life Navigators programming will continue to provide opportunities for Dartrice to be part of our community. Her mother shares that her daughters’ happiness in being active and connected is evident from the bright smile she sees on Dartrice’s face every time they attend one of these meaningful opportunities.

Your gifts make a direct impact and allow Dartrice and many others to have access to meaningful experiences in our community.  Through your generosity, kids and adults with disabilities are able to develop meaningful connections and gain confidence in their skills and abilities.  Thank you for supporting the wonderful kids and adults with disabilities that we so proudly serve.
