Meet Malcolm. For the past year, Malcolm has been a student volunteer at our office, helping with various tasks. Malcolm is part of Next Steps, a Wauwatosa School District program that teaches young adults with disabilities the skills they need to live, work and volunteer in our community.
Malcolm is a very eager worker and is always excited to come to our office. He enjoys organizing files alphabetically and learning new skills to help him find a job after high school. Malcolm likes any job that lets him use his hands, and hopes to get a job assembling or building items. Most of all, Malcolm loves the support he gets from his job coach and our Life Navigators staff, raving about how friendly everyone is in the office.
In Malcolm’s spare time, he likes to play video games and watch TV. His favorite shows are cartoons, which have inspired him to start creating and drawing his own! Malcolm’s future is sure to be a creative one.
Your investment will provide impactful services to Malcolm and many others. Through your generosity, young adults with disabilities will continue to have the network of support to live, work and volunteer in our community. Thank you for supporting the individuals with disabilities that we so proudly serve.
