Contributing to our Community – Meet Ed

Meet Ed. Ed loves being active by hiking and traveling, especially to visit his family across the U.S.  He enjoys handiwork and learned how to refurbish and upholster furniture from his dad’s business at an early age.  Ed is a member of our Men’s Group and is so grateful for Life Navigators’ network of support.  His case manager, Megan, recently helped him find a roommate and move into a new apartment. Ed is so excited to stay connected to other individuals in our community.

Ed works in our community and is celebrating his 15 year work anniversary at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel this June.  In his role, he works on repair maintenance including plumbing, drywall, electrical, air conditioning and tiling.  He loves the variety of his tasks and that he is always learning something new.  He is dedicated to his work and the guests that he provides for, saying “we all pitch in for guests here”.  During his time at the Sheraton, Ed has even met some famous guests including Fonzi from Happy Days!
